FRIGORÍFICO DON QUITO, Certified Establishment 4201, specializes in manufacturing and trading freshwater fish products.
All the activities are carried out keeping proper records and information of every procedure performed, and in compliance with the current standards and regulations of “Good Manufacturing Practices”.
Our facilities have been refurbished, and the equipment, procedures and technology have been updated in accordance with the current Food Hygiene and Safety Legislation.
Fish are harvested from different places of the big fishery area called “Cuenca del Río Paraná” (Paraná River basin), and they meet all the requirements of Hygiene and Natural Resources Exploitation Regulations.
Vehicles used for fish transportation (ours or carriers’ vehicles) have the required Public Health Permit issued by SENASA (National Food and Agriculture Standards Agency).

The premises are located in a non-urban area, free from objectionable odour, smoke, dust and other pollutants, and it is not subject to flooding.
The access roadways and the areas within our premises have hard paved surface, suitable for wheeled traffic.
The floor plans and records (descriptive and operational) have been approved by SENASA (National Food and Agriculture Standards Agency).
The building and facilities are of sound construction and in compliance with Health and Hygiene Regulations. |
